Speaking Engagements
Right now, we all are re-designing our relationship to work. I encourage and inspire leaders across sectors to explore their own relationship to their work, and to use this moment as a catalyst for creating strong, resilient organizations. My talks on human-centered AI transformation, burnout, and somatics draw from 25 years of experience as a manager, coach, trainer, and service designer. I equip audiences with the mindset and tools to slow down, create boundaries, and redesign work in ways that honor our full humanity.

“Something I learned at the event I spoke at yesterday really stayed with me: somatics, the body’s role in processing stress and emotion, is the third pillar of mental health. I learned a lot about this from Cassie Gruenstein during a session on burnout, and it reframed how I think about performance. When we are stressed, we often lose access to that body awareness, which can make thinking clearly and making good decisions much harder.”

Impact Summary:
Cool/Scary AI Impact Forum
San Francisco - November 4, 2025
Cassie reframed the AI conversation through the lens of chronic occupational burnout—95% of nonprofit leaders report concern about staff burnout, and 60–85% of knowledge workers identify as burned out at any given moment.
“Cassie delivered a genuinely grounding Keynote for our Navigating High Pressure Careers event for future business leaders. I am excited to find ways for more students to hear and learn from her experiences.”
— Dr. Anthea Yugawa, Psy.D., Director of Strategic Initiatives/Director of Student Affairs, Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley
